Accounting Manager (Medtech)

Location: Hybrid (2–3 days per week onsite in Stockholm, Sweden)

What you will do

• Own local accounting operations, including tax and external reporting, ensuring high quality and compliance.
• Act as the primary accounting lead in external audits, coordinating activities and deliverables.
• Partner with the Deputy CFO to provide accounting guidance and business-relevant insights.
• Establish robust governance frameworks, internal controls, and risk mitigation policies.
• Lead and coach the Accounting team, fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
• Drive digitalization and automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and scalability.

Requirements

• Hands-on accounting and tax experience with Swedish entities is required.
• Professional written and spoken fluency in Swedish and English is required.
• 7+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in an international or group accounting environment.
• Proven experience guiding or leading teams to support organizational change.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Stockholm office.
