Senior Go (+PHP) Developer

Nowadays, it’s a major FunTech company that develops high-load entertainment streaming platforms powered by Machine Learning, AR/VR, and Computer Vision. It’s one of the world’s top-50 websites in the live entertainment industry at massive scale. Their products serve millions of users, handling 200,000+ requests per second.

There are several hundred employees working at the company, mostly in the Cyprus office.

Your future tasks

• Design and develop new product features and scalable backend solutions to support global streaming systems.
• Solve complex infrastructure tasks.
• Profile and optimize solutions to scale high-performance and reliability.
• System design.

Tech stack

Go (80%) PHP (20%), MySQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, Kafka

We expect from you

• Strong backend engineering experience with Go (some practical commercial skills in PHP).
• Practical experience with REST API (design and implementation).
• Background in the development of high-load platforms.
• Skills in the writing unit and functional tests.
• Practical experience in debugging, profiling, optimization of code.
• Understanding the principles of sharding and replication.
• Knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
• English language at B1+ level, Russian — native.
• Readiness for relocation to Cyprus in 2-3 months.

Amazing, if you have experience with

microservices, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Redis and GRPC.
