TL;DR
Operations Manager (Education/Development): Managing national and provincial operational teams to ensure project implementation is aligned with , DFAT, and GOI regulations with an accent on procurement, grants, and administrative oversight. Focus on coordinating multi-regional operations across 25 districts and ensuring compliance with donor and government standards.
Location: Jakarta, Indonesia. This position is open to Indonesia nationals and permanent residents with authority to live and work in Indonesia. Visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do
- Lead and manage operational units, including Procurement & Grants, IT, and Administration across national and provincial levels.
- Supervise Operations Coordinators and provide guidance to provincial operational teams.
- Ensure quality oversight of day-to-day operations in the Jakarta office and support district offices.
- Review and provide quality assurance for payments, procurement contracts, grants, and sub-contracts.
- Authorize Program Activity Budgets under the direction of the Deputy Program Director.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in a relevant development subject or appropriate tertiary qualification.
- 10+ years of professional experience on donor-funded development programs (DFAT experience highly desirable).
- Knowledge of DFAT rules and regulations and experience in budget management, procurement, and HR.
- Strong understanding of GOI systems and procedures, particularly within MoPSE.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa (written and verbal).
- Must have valid work rights in Indonesia; no visa sponsorship provided.
