What you will do

• Lead a team of scientists working at the frontier of LLM-based personalization.
• Set the technical vision and drive the research agenda.
• Ensure the team delivers production-ready solutions.
• Hire, mentor, and develop world-class scientists while fostering scientific rigor.
• Partner with engineering and product teams to translate research into customer impact.
• Represent the team's work and achievements to senior leadership.

Requirements

• PhD, Master's degree, or equivalent research experience.
• 3+ years of experience in managing scientists or machine learning engineers.
• 3+ years of experience leading teams that build and deploy ML models for business applications.
• Experience leading applied research in Recommendation Systems, Information Retrieval, NLP, or LLMs.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically and communicate effectively with senior leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLM training, fine-tuning, or adaptation (e.g., tokenizer modification).
• Experience with sequential recommendation, user intent/mission modeling, or behavioral modeling.
