Guidewire Developer (Insurance)

TL;DR

Guidewire Developer (Guidewire InsuranceSuite): Implementing, configuring, and developing within Guidewire InsuranceSuite (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter) with an accent on technical execution, integrations, and business rules. Focus on building SOAP/REST integrations, developing GOSU logic, and coordinating activities across onshore and offshore teams.

What you will do

• Configure and customize Guidewire modules (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter) using GOSU and Guidewire Studio.
• Develop business rules, screens, validations, and maintain complex data models.
• Build and maintain integrations with external systems using SOAP, REST, and JMS Messaging.
• Lead technical teams, manage cross-functional project stakeholders, and provide workload estimations.
• Oversee unit testing, integration testing, and quality validation efforts to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Coordinate activities between onshore and offshore teams to ensure smooth delivery and release management.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software development experience with strong expertise in Guidewire InsuranceSuite.
• Hands-on experience with implementations and upgrades of PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter.
• Strong background in Java, API development, and integration frameworks.
• Must reside in Mexico City, State of Mexico, or Guadalajara.
• Proficiency in English is required.

Nice to have

• Guidewire Certifications (e.g., Ace ClaimCenter, Specialist PolicyCenter).
• Experience with cloud integrations, specifically AWS.
• Prior experience in consulting or enterprise-level multisystem implementations.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish.
