Narrative Designer (Game Design)

Location: Almaty, Kazakhstan; hybrid or office-based. Relocation assistance is available for joining the team in Almaty.

hirify.global is an independent game studio developing OneState, a mobile Social RolePlay game.

What you will do

• Develop and expand the game world, including its atmosphere, logic, references, and narrative consistency.
• Create and maintain the overall narrative structure and worldbuilding documentation.
• Write dialogues, scripts, character interactions, and other narrative content.
• Edit and review texts to align them with the game world and established references.
• Collaborate with marketing, community management, and video production teams.
• Participate in creative processes and narrative discussions.

Requirements

• Commercial narrative development experience for mobile and/or PC games.
• Strong creative writing, character development, dialogue writing, and story-structure skills.
• Experience creating and maintaining project documentation.
• Understanding of narrative consistency, lore, worldbuilding, and established game references.
• Extensive gaming experience in open-world projects and a strong understanding of U.S. culture, social trends, and urbanism.
• Exceptional English proficiency, clear communication, attention to detail, teamwork, and comfort working in an international environment.
