What you will do

  • Own collections outcomes including cash collected, arrears, roll-rates, and recovery economics.
  • Design and execute multi-horizon collections strategies with segmentation and experimentation frameworks.
  • Use data and partner with Risk and Data Science teams to optimize roll-rates and treatment effectiveness.
  • Build and develop a high-caliber leadership bench within Collections.
  • Influence cross-functional teams including Product, Risk, Tech, and CX to improve collections performance.
  • Balance collections effectiveness with maintaining long-term customer value and reducing escalations.

Requirements

  • Location: Must be able to work on-site in Lagos, Nigeria.
  • Minimum first degree in any related field.
  • At least 8 years of proven collections experience with senior leadership in lending, fintech, or credit-led businesses.
  • Proven track record of materially improving collections performance in data-rich, fast-moving environments.
  • Strong ownership mindset, proactive and commercially minded with ability to challenge leadership.
