What you will do

  • Monitor and assess system performance and changes throughout the release process.
  • Automate build and release functions in pre-production and production environments.
  • Maintain cloud-based infrastructure and provide support during Cloud deployments.
  • Debug production issues and manage rollbacks when necessary.
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to design infrastructure solutions for Cloud applications.
  • Actively contribute to security, compliance, and the adoption of industry best practices.

Requirements

  • English: Advanced spoken and written skills required.
  • Location: Must be based in Ecuador (Hybrid modality in Quito).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Systems, or similar.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or SRE.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization with Docker.
  • Proficiency in Linux administration and scripting (Python, Ruby, or Perl).

Nice to have

  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Git with advanced branching and merging strategies.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts (OSI, TCP/IP, DNS, Firewalls).
