Lead Game Designer (Web3)

Location: Vancouver, Canada; 100% remote

What you will do

• Create the game vision and own core mechanics and major game features.
• Develop prototypes and iterate on designs before full production.
• Use playtesting and community feedback to evolve the player experience.
• Apply qualitative and quantitative methods to validate and improve designs.
• Collaborate with the Game Director, operational managers, live-community designers, and community members.

Requirements

• 6+ years of game design experience with medium-to-large video game teams.
• Experience leading a team of at least five game designers.
• Experience in fast-paced, agile environments.
• Knowledge of concept design, progression, interfaces, monetization, and retention.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, organization, and workflow management skills.
• Experience with MS Office, JIRA, Notion, and other design tools.

Nice to have

• Experience or knowledge in the crypto space.
• Experience in a startup environment.
