What you will do

• Rapidly prototype game systems and gameplay using C# and the BRUTAL framework.
• Iterate and adapt code based on continuous gameplay and designer feedback.
• Test, debug, and profile code to polish the overall game experience.
• Collaborate with the BRUTAL tools team to improve the internal framework.
• Interact with the player community via Discord and online forums.

Requirements

• 8+ years of software development or games industry experience.
• Extensive professional expertise in C# software development.
• Experience working collaboratively within a programming team.
• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to Auckland, New Zealand.

Nice to have

• Experience with C++ or other graphics APIs and game engines.
• A portfolio of published or unpublished game projects.
