What you will do

• Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing technical team while aligning resources with production needs.
• Own the design, development, and evolution of the custom VFX pipeline to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Provide strategic oversight of studio infrastructure, including render, storage, and network systems in partnership with DevOps.
• Champion innovation by evaluating and integrating emerging technologies like AI, machine learning, and automation.
• Manage TPN security compliance and represent the studio during technical audits.
• Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to shape studio-wide technical strategy and prioritize development roadmaps.

Requirements

• Proven leadership and team management experience in a technical environment.
• Proficient Python developer with experience building VFX pipeline tools and DCC integrations.
• Working knowledge of key VFX DCCs including Nuke, Maya, and Houdini.
• Experience with package management systems like Rez and production tracking tools like ShotGrid or ftrack.
• Understanding of TPN security requirements and experience leading compliance in a VFX context.
• Ability to balance hands-on technical work with strategic leadership and stakeholder communication.
