What you will do

• Create, document, and communicate the overall game vision, including story, characters, and mechanics.
• Collaborate with technology and art leads to vet requirements and dependencies.
• Oversee the implementation of gameplay, level design, and scripts.
• Act as an expert resource on market competition and industry trends.
• Contribute to the improvement of development processes and propose innovative design methods.
• Iterate on game elements through close collaboration with design, art, and technical teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience as a game designer.
• Strong understanding of game mechanics and the interplay of game elements.
• Familiarity with modern scripting languages such as LUA.
• Experience with development practices like Scrum, Agile, and Lean.
• Proficiency with version control tools such as Perforce, SVN, or Git.

Nice to have

• Keen interest in the casual gaming market.
• Basic drawing and 3D design skills.
• Understanding of hardware capabilities across PC, console, and mobile platforms.
