TL;DR
AML Transaction Monitoring Specialist (AML/CFT): Monitor customer and transaction alerts, investigate unusual activity, and prepare investigation summaries with an accent on PEP/sanctions/adverse media screening and efficient escalation to the MLRO. Focus on conducting periodic internal customer reviews and improving transaction monitoring processes while working in a hybrid model from Lithuania.
Location: Vilnius, Vilnius County, Lithuania (Hybrid; availability to come to Vilnius and work in a hybrid model anywhere from Lithuania)
Salary: 2500–3500 € Gross (negotiable based on experience)

What you will do
- Monitor and address alerts on customers and their transactions.
- Identify unusual activity, prepare investigation summaries, and resolve or escalate cases to the MLRO.
- Screen customers against PEP, sanctions, and adverse media lists.
- Conduct periodic internal customer reviews.
- Drive process improvements and take ownership of improvement tasks for the team.
Requirements
- Previous experience in transaction monitoring (experience in another EMI is an advantage).
- Strong understanding of AML, CFT, and fraud laws.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Lithuanian.
- Availability to come to Vilnius and work in a hybrid model anywhere from Lithuania.
