Game Animator & VFX Artist (Unity/iGaming): Designing and implementing visual effects and animations for social casino games with an accent on symbol animations and big win celebrations. Focus on optimizing visual assets within the Unity engine and creating fluid 2D skeletal animations to enhance player experience.

Location: Remote, but requires periodic travel to the office in Athens, Greece. Preference will be given to candidates residing in Greece.

What you will do

• Craft beautiful animations and special effects for social casino titles.
• Bring 2D characters to life using skeletal animation techniques.
• Collaborate with artists and engineers to translate abstract concepts into thrilling visual experiences.
• Optimize animations and visual assets for performance within the Unity engine.
• Monitor and implement emerging trends and techniques in the animation industry.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Game Animator & VFX Artist, preferably within the gaming industry.
• Proficiency with Unity and Adobe After Effects.
• Fluent communication skills in both Greek and English.
• Strong passion for crafting captivating user experiences.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of character animation using Spine.
• Experience creating animations via code using Unity DOTween.
• Familiarity with Unity Particle System.
• Ability to create custom shaders using Unity Shader Graph.
