What you will do

• Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary engineering team, establishing clear priorities and reducing cross-team friction.
• Drive customer-centric data features by translating enterprise client needs into platform capabilities.
• Define technical boundaries and data models for event-driven analytics and robust AI integration.
• Guide the design and shipment of resilient LLM features with sophisticated error-handling, retries, and cost controls.
• Champion data governance by elevating testing rigor and monitoring to ensure analytics are trusted and highly available.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 2+ years of leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong background in data engineering or building data-intensive products (experience with ClickHouse and TimescaleDB is a plus).
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript/Node.
• Solid grasp of shipping LLM/NLP features to production, including cost management and quality evaluation.
• Architectural breadth to understand the connection between frontend, backend, and data components.

Nice to have

• Experience establishing organizational standards for AI coding assistants (Copilot/Codex).
• Advanced Kubernetes orchestration (Helm) and complex GCP cloud setup experience.
• Experience handling scaling challenges for real-time data ingestion and event-driven architectures.
