What you will do

• Lead and support communication, media, and public engagement for influencing within the Ghana country program.
• Manage internal, external, and social media communications across various program areas.
• Build and maintain strategic media relations to maximize positive coverage and fundraising opportunities.
• Supervise the production of Information Education and Communication (IEC) materials and ensure strict adherence to branding.
• Collaborate with Program Managers and partners to ensure close supervision, follow-up, and reporting.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in development communication, communication studies, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in journalism, communications, or media.
• Proven track record in building strategic media relations and managing campaigns for advocacy and influencing.
• Detailed understanding of print, radio, television, and online media landscapes.
• Must be resident in Ghana and legally authorized to work in the country.

Nice to have

• Bilingual skills in English and French.
