What you will do

  • Design, build, and maintain real-time video processing pipelines using GStreamer in embedded and cloud environments.
  • Develop GPU-accelerated video processing algorithms utilizing CUDA and Vulkan compute shaders.
  • Optimize video quality, robustness, latency, synchronization, and failure recovery mechanisms.
  • Build CI-friendly test suites, reproducible builds, and debugging tools for complex media pipelines.
  • Collaborate with firmware, camera, AI, platform, and cloud teams for seamless stack integration.
  • Shape the long-term architecture of the video processing stack as product ambitions evolve.

Requirements

  • Experience with GPU programming and compute shaders (Vulkan and/or NVIDIA/CUDA).
  • Knowledge of video processing, computer vision, and media pipelines, specifically GStreamer (elements, caps negotiation, plugin development).
  • Proficiency in one or more of the following: Rust, C++, Python, or Slang.
  • Experience with Linux environments and build systems like Meson/Ninja.
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals in architecture, APIs, testing, and observability.
  • Workplace: Ability to work on-site in Copenhagen
