What you will do

• Develop and optimize a modular monolith using PHP 8.4, Laravel 11, and PostgreSQL.
• Implement business logic in clear PHP classes separate from the framework to ensure maintainability.
• Reduce legacy code and increase test coverage using PHPUnit, PHPStan, and PHPCS.
• Utilize DDD, facades, adapters, and events to maintain strong boundaries between modules.
• Collaborate with the team to shape product solutions and challenge assumptions to improve outcomes.

Requirements

• English: B2 level or higher required.
• Location: Must be based in Poland.
• Extensive experience building scalable applications (e.g., CRM, CMS, or ERP); SaaS experience is a strong plus.
• Advanced proficiency in PHP 8.1+ and modern frameworks like Laravel or Symfony.
• Deep experience with modular monoliths, layered architecture, and framework-agnostic development.
• Strong knowledge of automated testing frameworks (e.g., PHPUnit) and robust testing strategies.
