What you will do

• Prepare food items for a la carte and buffet menus according to hotel recipes and standards.
• Supervise kitchen staff and conduct daily shift briefings in the absence of the Sous Chef.
• Maintain proper rotation of products in chillers to minimize wastage and spoilage.
• Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment.
• Liaise with the Outlet Chef to communicate guest feedback and improve service.
• Strictly follow kitchen policies, safety, and sanitation standards.

Requirements

• Previous professional experience in the culinary field.
• Journeyman’s papers or international equivalent.
• Must be based in or available to work in Amman, Jordan.
• Fluency in English.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Diploma Certification in a Culinary discipline.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications.
• Prior experience working with Opera or related hotel systems.
