What you will do

• Develop, qualify, and run cell-based functional assays, including activation, signaling, reporter-gene, and potency assays.
• Convert bespoke functional assays into productized, reproducible capabilities with defined performance.
• Collaborate with biology and lab automation teams to integrate and scale assays onto automated systems.
• Partner with software teams to structure and model functional data, such as dose-response and potency.
• Maintain assay robustness through controls, reference standards, and rigorous quality bars.
• Advise internal teams and customers on assay design and the interpretation of functional data.

Requirements

• Deep, hands-on experience developing cell-based and functional/potency assays.
• Applied industry experience in a production, development, or commercial setting.
• Strong understanding of antibody and protein function mechanisms to design appropriate assays.
• Interdisciplinary mindset with the ability to work across biology, automation, and software.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work on-site in Lausanne, Switzerland.

• Data fluency, including scripting and analyzing dose-response and potency data.
