TL;DR

Lead DevOps Engineer (DevSecOps): Acting as a bridge between platform engineers and the developer community to drive platform adoption and engagement with an accent on technical content creation and community building. Focus on implementing DevSecOps practices, fostering a developer ecosystem, and articulating complex technical concepts through storytelling and public speaking.

Location: Must be based in Bogota, Colombia (Remote/Hybrid options available)

What you will do

  • Bridge the gap between platform engineering and the developer community to drive engagement and adoption.
  • Create technical content and lead hands-on engagements to demonstrate platform value.
  • Foster internal communities of practice through blogs, forums, and social media.
  • Present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Deliver technical presentations and hands-on demos at conferences, meetups, or webinars.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps, software development, or related fields.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, DevSecOps practices, and cloud-native technologies.
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes, GitOps, GitLab CI, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with storytelling ability.
  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
  • Location: Must be based in Bogota, Colombia

Nice to have

  • Experience working with open-source projects or external developer communities.
  • Prior experience speaking at professional conferences or webinars.
