What you will do

• Partner with customers to scope protein design campaigns, define targets, and establish success criteria.
• Advise on design strategies using de novo design, diffusion models, protein language models, and structure prediction.
• Design experiments and controls to test scientific hypotheses.
• Analyze experimental results (binding, expression, stability) using biophysical techniques such as SPR, BLI, and nanoDSF.
• Iterate on designs based on data to close the loop and shorten the design-build-test cycle.
• Collaborate with product and platform teams to improve the overall AI-driven experimentation experience.

Requirements

• Degree and hands-on experience in protein design, computational biology, biochemistry, or structural biology.
• Fluency in modern protein design and prediction models.
• Ability to analyze experimental data using Python and notebooks.
• Strong communication skills for solving complex problems alongside customers.
• Scientific problem-solving mindset with a focus on hypothesis-driven iteration.
