What you will do

• Execute molecular cloning workflows, including PCR, Golden Gate, and Gibson assembly.
• Manage protein expression in bacterial or mammalian systems and perform purification and quality control.
• Conduct biophysical and functional characterization assays to assess protein binding and stability.
• Operate and maintain automated liquid handling and lab automation systems.
• Prepare reagents and buffers according to SOPs while tracking inventory and consumables.
• Document experimental results to ensure data integrity and reproducibility.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of hands-on laboratory experience in molecular biology.
• Proficiency in PCR, molecular cloning, transformation, and DNA purification.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work on-site in Lausanne, Switzerland

Nice to have

• Experience with protein expression and purification.
• Knowledge of protein characterization assays such as BLI, SPR, or ELISA.
• Experience with laboratory automation or liquid handling systems.
