Data Engineer

TL;DR

Data Engineer: Ensuring stable and secure operation of live data products with an accent on Snowflake, DBT, and ELT pipeline maintenance. Focus on troubleshooting incidents, optimizing data solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product enhancements.

Location: Must be based in Bratislava, Slovakia (Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days home office)

What you will do

• Ensure stable operation of data products providing 2nd and 3rd-level support.
• Partner with delivery teams to develop new data solutions and implement enhancements.
• Troubleshoot incidents and perform root-cause analyses.
• Monitor data pipelines, system health, and KPIs while maintaining alerts and dashboards.
• Maintain documentation, configurations, and access controls.
• Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and business teams on incident management.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work from Bratislava, Slovakia.
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake, SQL, and DBT.
• Working knowledge of Python or JavaScript for automation and data processing.
• Understanding of modern data pipelines, ELT patterns, and product lifecycle.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Power BI and Streamlit.
• Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).
