TL;DR

Spare Parts Procurement Manager (Logistics/Supply Chain): Managing operational procurement, RFQ processes, and inventory for waste infrastructure technology with an accent on supplier performance and material planning. Location: Bratislava, Slovakia (Hybrid: home office possible 2 days a week)

Salary: Basic wage from 2,000 EUR/month

What you will do

  • Manage operational procurement tasks, including the RFQ process, order implementation, and expediting.
  • Drive continuous improvements to ensure suppliers meet quality requirements and on-time delivery targets.
  • Oversee master data and material planning, including inventory management for assigned products in the ERP system.
  • Execute cost-saving and optimization projects in collaboration with Category Managers and suppliers.
  • Achieve financial results through strategic price negotiations and the establishment of framework agreements.

Requirements

  • Technical background or training in mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a comparable role focusing on purchasing and inventory management.
  • Solid proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills with a structured approach to work.
  • Good English skills (written and spoken); German is considered an advantage.
  • Must be located in or able to work from Bratislava, Slovakia.
