What you will do

  • Develop and maintain software components using C++ and Linux for automotive telematics.
  • Create component design documents based on technical specifications and system architecture.
  • Perform functional testing, code reviews, and root cause analysis for software issues.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve technical requirement inconsistencies.
  • Analyze and improve embedded software performance, including porting to different platforms.
  • Implement unit tests to ensure software quality and adherence to automotive development standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related IT field.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in software development.
  • At least 3+ years of professional experience with C++.
  • Strong expertise in Embedded Linux and embedded application development.
  • Knowledge of inter-process communication, threading, and socket communication.
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 20% for training or coordination.

Nice to have

  • Experience with TCP/UDP protocols and Linux Kernel development.
  • Familiarity with Unified Modelling Language (UML).
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as SCRUM or SAFe.
