TL;DR

Continuous Improvement Manager (Manufacturing): Managing the plant’s continuous improvement efforts and sustaining a culture of excellence with an accent on business process optimization and CI methodologies. Focus on leading Kaizen events, analyzing process data to reduce costs, and coaching plant leadership on Lean principles.

Location: Onsite in Heredia, Costa Rica

What you will do

  • Lead and manage project teams (Kaizens) to execute comprehensive process improvement and business model innovation initiatives.
  • Analyze and measure the effectiveness of existing business processes to develop sustainable and quantifiable improvements.
  • Coach and train the plant leadership team, supervisors, and all employees on CI principles and methodologies.
  • Develop, execute, and monitor a site-wide continuous improvement culture program.
  • Apply quantitative and qualitative analyses to evaluate the performance of services and programs.
  • Collaborate with external agencies to identify and integrate industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related fields.
  • At least 6 years of demonstrated continuous improvement experience.
  • 3 years of project management experience.
  • English: B2 level required.
  • Proven experience in change management and business process analysis.
  • Must be based in or able to work onsite in Heredia, Costa Rica.

Nice to have

  • MBA degree.
  • Black Belt, RedX Master, PPM, or equivalent certifications.
  • Proficiency with AI tools such as Copilot or ChatGPT.
