What you will do

• Drive technical and architectural decisions to meet current product requirements and future needs.
• Lead technical teams to ensure the delivery of production-ready code.
• Design and develop new software and enhancements for base hirify.global software and client systems.
• Collaborate directly with Product Owners to refine requirements and specifications.
• Advocate for and implement automation frameworks for testing, integration, and deployment.
• Mentor junior developers and take ownership of specific functional areas or projects.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science or a related program.
• 4+ years of professional experience as a software developer.
• Proficiency with .NET Core, .NET Framework, Entity Framework/Dapper, Web APIs, and Microservices.
• Experience with relational databases (Postgres, SQL Server) and frontend tech (Node, Angular/React, TypeScript, JavaScript).
• Must have experience using AI for development (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor).
• Must be based in Canada or the United Kingdom.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLMs, Agentic Frameworks, RAG, Vector DBs, and MCP servers.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and Docker.
• Familiarity with Message Queues such as SQS, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.
• Experience with multi-tenancy architectures.
