What you will do

• Ensure compliance with state board of pharmacy regulations, federal requirements, and internal policies within a 503A environment.
• Oversee dispensing and fulfillment workflows, including prescription verification, labeling accuracy, and record retention.
• Design and maintain a self-inspection program and complete Board of Pharmacy compliance checklists.
• Assist in maintaining pharmacy licensure, DEA compliance, and necessary regulatory documentation.
• Support the investigation of dispensing errors and quality events through root cause analysis (RCA) and CAPA development.
• Partner cross-functionally with Quality, Legal, and Supply Chain teams to mitigate compliance risks.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work on-site in New Albany, Ohio.
• Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy.
• Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of practice.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in pharmacy dispense and fulfillment.
• Strong working knowledge of USP <795>, <800>, and state/federal pharmacy regulations.
• Experience supporting audits, inspections, or regulatory inquiries.

Nice to have

• Prior experience serving as a Designated Person (DP).
• Experience in automated pharmacy dispensing systems.
• Background working in high-growth or strictly regulated healthcare environments.
• Advanced certification in compounding or pharmacy quality.
