What you will do

• Prepare and execute lab and pilot trials, including weighing raw materials and operating equipment.
• Perform QC tests such as pH, viscosity, and shelf-life evaluations for glazes and beverages.
• Conduct benchmark tests, sensorial evaluations, and application tests.
• Accurately record test data and support recipe updates in SAP.
• Maintain the pilot and lab area following hygiene procedures and 5S standards.
• Support food safety and hygiene rules including GMP, HACCP, TACCP, and VACCP.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science/Technology, (Bio)Chemistry, or a relevant technical field.
• Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Groot-Bijgaarden, Belgium.
• English: B2 level required.
• Accuracy and a hands-on approach for performing repetitive, detail-oriented tests in an industrial environment.
• Strong sense of order, hygiene, and structure.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage workload within tight timelines.

Nice to have

• First work experience in food production or lab work.
• Proficiency in Dutch and/or French.
