Senior Game Designer (Systems & Economy) (Mobile): Designing and optimizing game progression, economy, events, and monetization systems for a leading puzzle game with an accent on long-term player engagement and business performance. Focus on building complex economy models, balancing LiveOps ecosystems, and leveraging KPI data to eliminate progression bottlenecks.

Location: Fully remote (worldwide) or on-site in Berlin, Germany

What you will do

  • Design, balance, and optimize the game’s economy, progression, and reward systems.
  • Create engaging player motivation loops across events, features, and monetization.
  • Develop and maintain a cohesive LiveOps event ecosystem.
  • Build and maintain economy models, balancing spreadsheets, and simulations.
  • Analyze KPIs such as Retention, ARPDAU, Conversion, and LTV to guide design decisions.
  • Collaborate with Product, BI, UA, Art, and Development teams to improve game performance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience designing and operating successful F2P mobile games.
  • Strong expertise in systems design, economy design, progression, and LiveOps.
  • Proven track record working on casual or puzzle games.
  • Advanced spreadsheet skills for building balancing models.
  • Analytical mindset with ability to execute A/B tests.
  • Excellent English communication skills (C1+).

  • Proficiency in using AI tools for data analysis.
