Location: Must be based in Malaysia. Workday must start no later than 2 PM (GMT+8) to ensure team collaboration.

What you will do

• Provide legal support for the launch and growth of lending, credit, and investment products.
• Ensure product features comply with financial services regulations and consumer protection laws.
• Draft and negotiate corporate documents including shareholder agreements, board minutes, and SPAs.
• Collaborate with product, development, and marketing teams on legal requirements.
• Manage corporate governance, acquisitions, and group structuring matters.
• Coordinate with external advisors and regulators to ensure ongoing compliance.

Requirements

• Law degree from a recognized university.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in fintech, banking, or microfinance.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• Must be based in Malaysia.
• Workday must start by 2 PM (GMT+8) / 7 AM (CET).
• Strong understanding of credit product regulation and corporate law.

• Experience with international markets and multiple jurisdictions.
