TL;DR
Technology Consultant (HPE Server & Storage): Designing, implementing, and optimizing compute and storage solutions for enterprise and mid-market customers with an accent on HPE ProLiant, Alletra, and GreenLake. Focus on architecting resilient hybrid-cloud architectures, executing structured migrations, and ensuring regulatory compliance within the SEA region.
Location: Onsite in Malaysia (expectation to work from partner/customer offices)

What you will do
- Lead discovery and translate business requirements into HLD/LLD, BOMs, and detailed implementation plans.
- Architect scalable solutions using ProLiant, Synergy, and Alletra across on-prem, hybrid, and multi-site setups.
- Deploy and configure servers, storage arrays, SAN fabrics (Brocade/Cisco), and virtualization layers (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Execute structured migrations including P2V/V2V/V2C and storage array refreshes with comprehensive runbooks.
- Enable InfoSight and DSCC for proactive monitoring, predictive analytics, and fleet optimization.
- Produce as-built documentation and map solution controls to regulatory frameworks like BNM RMiT and PDPA.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience in server/storage engineering or consulting with enterprise-scale deployments.
- Proven track record in data center refresh, storage consolidation, and SAN modernization.
- Experience working with BFSI, Government, or Telco sectors in Malaysia/SEA.
- Deep knowledge of Compute and Storage portfolios, SAN connectivity, and VMware vSphere.
- Must be based in Malaysia for onsite work at partner/customer offices.
Nice to have
- Automation and scripting skills using PowerShell, Ansible, or REST APIs.
- ASE/Master ASE certifications in Compute or Storage.
- VMware VCP-DCV, RHCSA/RHCE, or Cisco DC/SAN certifications.
- ITIL Foundation or ISO 27001 exposure.
