Software Engineer - Android Senior (Performance & Stability)

Location: Worldwide / Remote. Relocation support is available to hubs in Georgia, Cyprus, Serbia, or Kazakhstan.

What you will do

• Develop tools and scalable frameworks to ensure smooth and reliable app performance and real-time error tracking.
• Monitor key app metrics and identify performance bottlenecks to improve overall user experience.
• Collaborate with iOS, backend, DevOps, and analytics teams to implement stability improvements.
• Contribute to a consistent design system and create reusable components.
• Work closely with designers and product managers to deliver data-driven mobile experiences.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and solid knowledge of the Android SDK.
• Experience with modern architecture patterns such as MVI or ELM.
• Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose and Kotlin Coroutines.
• Proven expertise in profiling and optimizing Android applications.
• English: B1 or higher required for communication with an international team.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical decisions in uncertain environments.

Nice to have

• Experience in platform or infrastructure technical teams.
• Familiarity with observability, telemetry integrations, and data dashboards (e.g., Grafana, Superset, Tableau).
• Background working on large-scale mobile applications.
• Knowledge of mathematical statistics.
• T-shaped expertise in other languages (Golang) or platforms (iOS, k8s).
