What you will do

• Manage and maintain all database instances, including installation and configuration.
• Design and operate high availability clusters for PostgreSQL and MSSQL.
• Perform database tuning and capacity planning to ensure optimal performance.
• Automate manual database operations using tools like Ansible and Python.
• Manage backup, restore, and recovery operations.
• Provide technical support and expertise to development teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in installing and administering NoSQL and RDBMS databases.
• Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL is required; MSSQL knowledge is a plus.
• Experience in Fintech or Payment Systems environments.
• In-depth understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery strategies.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Ability to automate DBA tasks using Python or Ansible.

Nice to have

• Experience with Patroni for PostgreSQL high availability.
