Senior DevOps Engineer

What you will do

• Build, design, test, and deploy hirify.global's digital products and infrastructure components.
• Solve complex technical problems and identify resolutions within a cloud environment.
• Drive the development and delivery of cloud services and tools.
• Maintain high standards of software quality and encourage growth within the team.
• Collaborate with end users and internal customers to ensure product accuracy and interoperability.
• Work directly with engineering leadership in Slovakia and the US.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of the software product lifecycle and technical solution integration.
• Experience deploying scalable and highly available enterprise applications on AWS.
• Expertise in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Proficiency with configuration management tools such as Puppet or Chef.
• Experience working within an agile environment.

Nice to have

• Scripting and programming skills in Python, Bash, or similar.
• Strong understanding of security, networking, and system design practices.
• Experience with multi-cloud environments.
• Knowledge of datastores such as MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, Elasticsearch, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Relevant certifications in AWS or Azure.
