What you will do

• Design, build, and improve customer-facing Android features for planning, booking, and managing travel.
• Contribute to product-team technical decisions from discovery and design through delivery and iteration.
• Identify and execute improvements to app performance, reliability, developer experience, and delivery speed.
• Partner with Product, Backend, Web, and iOS colleagues to shape roadmaps and deliver joined-up experiences across platforms.
• Use modern Android technologies and engineering practices (Kotlin, Coroutines, Jetpack Compose, Dagger, CI, clean architecture).
• Provide technical leadership in the Android space and mentor other engineers.

Requirements

• Strong Android development experience with good working knowledge of Kotlin and modern Android technologies.
• Solid understanding of design patterns, SOLID principles, clean code practices, and CI/CD or continuous delivery.
• Experience building customer-facing mobile products with a focus on UX, quality, and performance.
• Confidence working with Git and collaborating using modern software development workflows.
• Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate in cross-functional teams (Product, Backend, Web, iOS, and engineering colleagues).
• Proactive, inclusive mindset with experience mentoring or supporting other engineers.
