What you will do

• Operate specialized X-ray equipment to create high-quality images for medical diagnosis.
• Prepare and position patients while practicing radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment and coordinate software upgrades with technical support.
• Document patient care services in department records and manage diagnostic evaluation reports.
• Collaborate with consultant radiologists for the transmission and review of digital images.
• Actively participate in Mass Casualty exercises and other assigned operational duties.

Requirements

• Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or a home country equivalent.
• Fluency in both oral and written English required.
• Minimum 6 months of direct patient care experience within the last 12 months of career.
• Must be able to relocate to Balad, Iraq, and hold a valid passport.
• Ability to meet pre-deployment physical requirements, including lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Medical clearance and up-to-date immunizations.

Nice to have

• Certification as an Ultrasound Technician or home country equivalent.
• Experience with digital acquisition and transmission of medical images.
