TL;DR

Data Migration Specialist (Python/AI): Extracting, cleaning, and importing customer data from legacy systems into the hirify.global platform with an accent on automation and data integrity. Focus on designing efficient ETL workflows using pandas and AI tools to ensure seamless customer onboarding.

Location: Onsite in Guatemala City (Zone 10, Edificio Interaméricas)

Salary: starting from Q9,000.00

What you will do

  • Own end-to-end data migrations by extracting data from CSVs, APIs, and database exports, then cleaning and normalizing it for upload into hirify.global.
  • Automate and scale data transformation and validation using Python (pandas) and advanced Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Leverage AI tools like ChatGPT and Claude to accelerate data cleaning and validation workflows.
  • Identify patterns in data issues and propose process improvements to increase migration speed and accuracy.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Onboarding and CSM teams to define requirements and ensure data accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve high-priority post-launch data escalations with urgency.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of experience in a data or technical role (e.g., Data Analyst, RevOps, BI, Technical Onboarding).
  • Strong Python skills, with a preference for pandas for data cleaning and transformation.
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and complex formulas.
  • Experience utilizing AI tools to improve professional workflows.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Must be based in Guatemala City for onsite work.

Nice to have

  • SQL experience.
  • Experience working with REST APIs.
  • Background in SaaS onboarding, implementation, or technical support.
  • Familiarity with CRM or business data models.
