SysAdmins Manager (Linux)

What you will do

• Lead the Indonesian Web Hosting SysAdmin team and design its shift coverage without joining the rotation or on-call schedule.
• Own incident response, including acknowledgement, customer communication, postmortems, and SLA follow-up.
• Act as the escalation point for complex hosting and security cases raised by Customer Success.
• Operate, debug, optimize, and fix a fleet of more than 1,600 bare-metal servers running CloudLinux, LiteSpeed, cPanel/WHM, and MariaDB.
• Build long-term automation with Ansible/AWX, Prometheus, and Grafana, while introducing AI-assisted ticket resolution, diagnosis, and runbooks.
• Hire, onboard, coach, and manage reporting, team KPIs, performance reviews, and coordination with teams in Lithuania and Brazil.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise-scale Linux environments, including database and web-server performance tuning.
• 1+ years of experience leading or mentoring an engineering or SysAdmin team, preferably in a shift-based or on-call environment.
• Hands-on experience with cPanel/WHM, LiteSpeed, Apache or Nginx, MariaDB/MySQL, and CloudLinux, including LVE and CageFS.
• Experience with on-premises or bare-metal infrastructure, security hardening, and malware response on shared hosting.
• Experience with Bash or Python scripting and Ansible, plus previous hiring experience.
• English proficiency at C1–C2 level and availability to lead the Indonesia daytime coverage window.
