What you will do

• Execute preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance on foundry machinery to maximize availability and reliability.
• Perform electromechanical repairs and follow maintenance work orders aligned with EH&S policies.
• Analyze equipment records and maintenance history to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs.
• Ensure full implementation of Safety & Sustainability systems in the work area.
• Propose modifications to enhance equipment performance and reliability.

Requirements

• Mechanical or Electrical Qualification (Technician) or equivalent technical degree.
• At least 2 years’ experience in commissioning and installation of heavy-duty equipment.
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance within foundries, steel plants, or similar industrial environments.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, P&ID, and power/control schemes.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety and grounding.
• Must be based in or able to work at the Chilca Foundry in Peru.

• Intermediate or conversational level of English.
