Data Engineer

An IT company operating in the marketing, gaming, and financial segments of the iGaming industry with products implemented across Europe, Africa, and Latin America.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain data ingestion and transformation pipelines across raw, integration, and presentation layers on AWS.
• Implement and maintain data quality checks, including validation rules and anomaly detection.
• Build and maintain dimensional datasets to support the Analytics team in reporting and visualization.
• Investigate and resolve data inconsistencies in collaboration with BI and Business Data Analysts.
• Monitor pipeline health to ensure data is accurate, trustworthy, and up to date.

Requirements

• Proficient in SQL and working with structured data.
• Experience designing and building data pipelines for ingesting and preparing data from multiple sources.
• Understanding of batch processing and incremental updates.
• Knowledge of data modeling principles, including star schema and dimensional modeling.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS services such as Redshift, Aurora, Glue, or S3.
• Familiarity with Power BI or other reporting tools.
