What you will do

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize the IBM DOORS requirements database and create DXL scripts for automation.
  • Manage and enhance JIRA task management databases, workflows, and associated engineering processes.
  • Implement automation opportunities across JIRA, Mendix, and related engineering tools to improve development efficiency.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams, project managers, and senior management.
  • Develop custom dashboards, reports, and visualizations from JIRA data for departmental and executive needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective requirements traceability and process compliance.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience as an IBM DOORS Requirements Administrator.
  • Advanced proficiency in DXL (DOORS Extension Language) for designing custom automation solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with aerospace certification standards, specifically ARP4754B, DO-178C, and DO-254.
  • Proven expertise in requirements management and product configuration management.
  • Experience with JIRA administration, configuration, and process management.
  • English: Fluent proficiency is mandatory; German is a plus.

Nice to have

  • Background in complex systems development, such as aerospace or avionics.
  • Proficiency in German language.
