What you will do

• Design motion and animation for AI product interfaces, including loading states, streaming responses, and system transitions.
• Create motion patterns that help users understand AI behavior and system state without relying on long textual explanations.
• Develop animation frameworks for uncertainty, thinking states, failure, recovery, and asynchronous AI processes.
• Collaborate with product and UX designers to define confidence cues, feedback loops, and error states.
• Build detailed motion specifications and prototypes for accurate engineering implementation.
• Define and maintain a reusable animation library and core motion design principles for AI surfaces.

Requirements

• Proven experience in motion design for digital products with a portfolio showcasing interface animation.
• Proficiency in After Effects, Lottie, Rive, or equivalent industry-standard tools.
• Deep understanding of how motion communicates system state, feedback, and user guidance.
• Ability to design animations that adhere to the technical constraints of mobile and web platforms.
• Experience working closely with product designers and engineers in a collaborative environment.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work in Seoul, Korea.
