What you will do

• Design interaction models for multi-step AI tasks, including initiation, monitoring, and correction.
• Define interface states for AI (idle, thinking, acting, uncertain, failed, and recovered).
• Develop human-in-the-loop controls for reviewing and overriding AI decisions.
• Create detailed interaction specifications and prototypes for engineering handoff.
• Collaborate with product and ML teams to align system constraints with usable interaction patterns.
• Conduct user testing to identify and resolve friction caused by non-deterministic AI behavior.

Requirements

• Experience as an interaction designer or senior UX designer with strong depth in interaction design.
• Ability to design micro-level states, transitions, and failure handling.
• Strong prototyping skills in Figma or equivalent tools.
• Deep understanding of HCI principles: user control, transparency, and feedback.
• Comfort designing for systems where output is non-deterministic.
• Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid setup in Seoul, South Korea.
