What you will do

• Design conversational flows for AI interactions across chat, task completion, and assistant-guided workflows.
• Define how the AI sets expectations, signals uncertainty, and communicates errors or limitations.
• Develop prompts, response templates, and fallback patterns for multi-step, long-running tasks.
• Design mechanisms for users to supervise, interrupt, and redirect AI behavior through conversation.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and ML teams to handle ambiguity, memory, and context across sessions.
• Analyze conversation logs to identify failure points, misaligned expectations, and recovery gaps.

Requirements

• Experience in conversation design, UX writing, or interaction design.
• Strong understanding of conversational UX for AI products, chatbots, or voice assistants.
• Ability to design multi-turn interactions, including prompting flows and error recovery.
• Clear thinking about how AI systems should communicate trust, limitations, and failure.
• Experience collaborating with engineers, product managers, and ML teams.
• Submission of a portfolio is required for the application process.
