What you will do

• Design and establish a robust Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) system for the PROREFISH Gambia project.
• Monitor the progress of pipeline and ongoing projects at the country level.
• Prepare monthly, annual, and mandatory reports and briefs according to established formats.
• Facilitate the systematization of project experiences and lessons learned.
• Provide technical expertise to the Project Coordination Unit (PCU) on M&E activities.
• Collaborate with the M&E team to assess results and ensure project goals are met.

Requirements

• Advanced university degree in Agricultural Economics, Biometry, Economics, or a related field.
• Must be based in or able to work in Banjul, Gambia.
• Proven ability to work with government departments, national/international NGOs, and UN agencies.
• Strong results-oriented mindset and professional integrity.
• Ability to undergo rigorous reference and background checks.

Nice to have

• Experience in the formulation, implementation, and evaluation of projects related to natural resources management and rural development.
