What you will do

• Plan and manage the overall Quality Planning strategy and documentation.
• Perform automated and manual testing of Ubuntu Desktop, Server, and Core on various latest hardware.
• Improve automated test capabilities through design and code contributions.
• Identify, isolate, and document bugs, and triage test reports and customer issues.
• Collaborate with global project teams to identify quality bottlenecks and suggest improvements.
• Prepare time estimates and schedules for testing activities.

Requirements

• Experience with the Linux desktop and related technologies.
• Solid grasp of commercial Software QA practices and their integration into Linux Community standards.
• Proficiency in common scripting languages, including Shell script, Python, or JavaScript.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in English.
• Ability to be productive and collaborate within a globally distributed team.
• Excellent logic, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.
