What you will do

• Monitor and protect B2C web and mobile platforms against DDoS, fraud, and application-layer exploits.
• Implement security controls for APIs, microservices, and cloud infrastructure using SIEM and EDR tools.
• Conduct forensic analysis and investigate security alerts in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Manage vulnerabilities through scanning, manual testing, and collaboration with engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, GDPR, and gaming regulations.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience in security operations, platform, or application security.
• Proficiency in web application security (OWASP Top 10, API security) and cloud platforms.
• Experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, and security orchestration (SOAR, Python).
• Understanding of firewalls, IDS/IPS, DDoS mitigation, and cryptography.
• Knowledge of PCI-DSS and GDPR regulations.
• Must be based in or able to work from Malta (Msida).

Nice to have

• Experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices.
