TL;DR

Location: Must be based in Palmerston North, New Zealand

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain scalable backend services using C# and .NET Core.
  • Build and enhance web interfaces with Angular and mobile applications using Flutter.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to take features from design through to deployment.
  • Improve CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks to ensure high code quality.
  • Diagnose and resolve production issues with a focus on performance and system scalability.
  • Participate in technical reviews and design discussions to maintain robust architecture.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in C#/.NET Core and SQL Server/Azure SQL.
  • Experience with web frontends (Angular) and/or mobile development (Flutter, iOS, Android).
  • Familiarity with cloud environments, specifically Azure App Services and storage.
  • Solid understanding of modern development practices including Git, CI/CD, and Agile.
  • Ability to solve complex problems within distributed systems.

Nice to have

  • Experience with IoT and hardware integrations.
  • Knowledge of event-driven or asynchronous system architectures.
  • Experience scaling high-throughput systems.
